Nice one Davy but when it says to align the index marks should these not be the "new" marks after you have balanced the scopes? Also you can use the "All Star" or "Polar align" feature to polar align your mount I believe. Now I'm confused!!

Hi John

These are the RA and DEC marks on the main parts of the mount, not the polar align stuff.
I was asked to do this for Martin, he literally wanted the instructions after polar align was done, without any complications of all star align etc...

I think I may have misunderstood what Steve told me when we set up my mount at the NLO. When we balanced the mount we marked new RA and DEC index points. What was the about? Confused.com :)
