the weather for this coming Friday, 30th September, doesn’t look great so the plans for the members’ evening are as follows (all times approximate!):

7:30pm – Planetarium show run by David Strange, aimed at beginners and new members
8:15pm – Drinks and biscuits
8:45pm – Short talk/presentation in the LTC on the new camera systems, kit and global network, together with demonstration of some of the recent detections, processed data and auto-generated time lapses that have been captured.

Of course, if the weather does behave then there will also be an opportunity for stargazing.
